To the One I Love, regardless how you feel,
Mine still remains, Profound and Surreal.
The pain I am feeling is not greater than
The Love I have for you nor is the man
Any lesser in my eyes or in my Loving heart.
I still hold you dearly in my deepest part.
To me you are amazing, God Knows this to be true.
My Love is far too deep to just give up on you.
Any pain you're feeling from sorrow, regret, or shame,
Your joy and peace I want them not to steal from you or claim.
My forgiveness awaits, it's on hold for you,
Hoping you'll let me help see the trouble through.
For once I do forgive, it's no longer my concern
And I'm not willing to let you simply crash and burn.
I realise what I'm saying may be all for naught,
To you I may mean nothing and already I'm forgot,
But if there is a chance at all that I may still your heart touch,
Then it's all worth my efforts because I Love you still so much!
Have you ever stopped to think God may have chosen me
For a purpose in your life, perhaps to help you see?
God Knows sometimes we stray, get tempted into wrong.
He Knows getting out of quicksand requires something strong.
Since there's nothing stronger than sublime Love,
God has supplied me with more than plenty of.
So, I don't give up easily, choose to run away,
When troubled times appear causing me dismay.
My life hasn't been an easy road, but I have no regret,
For God has taught me well, the small stuff not to sweat.
Instead, I am thankful for God has made me strong,
Has taught me to endure when things go awry or wrong.
Perhaps, God has Assigned to me yet another task,
Which I must use His Example to apply as He does Ask,
And this is to be forgiving, patient, and also mercy show,
But I cannot, will not, force you. This is just to let you know.
What you do from here is your choice, out of my control,
But I will always pray to God for you and for your soul.
Regardless what may come or how things may unfold,
May God bless you forever, keep you in His Loving Hold.
