This poem resulted from a 'poetic' quote I wrote, a "quoem":
"Profound Love"
When Love is Profound, it doesn't go away,
Just because there's come a cloudy, rainy day.
No, Love endures, weathers every storm,
And still remains constant and True To Form.
But Love can't survive on a one way street,
Love requires two to in the middle meet.
Love relies on Trust, believing in one another,
Through the good, the bad, or through any other.
Love has no on-off switch to flip the Power off.
Love cares not should others choose to scoff.
Love has no reason
Or no special season.
Love has no logic or even common sense.
Love will stop at nothing, spare no expense,
Not of the wallet but only of the heart
For money has no value in God's Precious Part.
But Love must be kept sacred and pure
For Love to conquer all, able to endure.
Only when impurities are within, allowed,
Will then Love become so sadly disavowed.
Love begins to die when caring about is lost
By either one or both, tragic is the cost.
When there's only one left in the Equation of Love,
Who still feels and believes in all the Power of,
Then it's devastating, in ways that can't be measured.
No greater is a loss than of a Special One STILL Treasured.
So yes...
