"Lenses Of Love"
When we see with our eyes, we can only see,
What our own thoughts allow for our vision to be.
When we see with our hearts, we remove the door,
Barricading our view from seeing much more.
When we see with our hearts, we see others' as well
And so know they have feelings that within them dwell,
Reminding ourselves we should treat, handle with care
The hearts of the souls where within are tender and fair.
We must be respectful of theirs as we'd like them to do
With our own hearts that have feelings, tenderness too.
When we see with our hearts, we broaden our view,
Because the Lenses Of Love we then see through.
The Lenses Of Love have no frames to wear over our eyes
For there is no frame possible to contain an infinite size.
But the Lenses Of Love reveal with colour so bright
A luminous spectrum so breathless, a Magical Light.
The Lenses Of Love bring into view
The Elements of Love, each brilliant hue
Of Compassion and Kindness, Empathy and Caring,
Understanding, Forgiveness, Giving and Sharing.
These colourful hues so warming invite
More pleasant reception to then incite
The desires in hearts, differences resolve,
Begin building Trust and egos dissolve.
The Lenses Of Love beckon to in hearts reflect
Strobes to entice too intense to reject.
Thus a desire within is rooted and sown
To remodel a heart where only Love's grown.
When we see with our eyes, we have limited sight,
But when we see with our hearts, we let in the Light
Through Lenses Of Love, we have colourful vision,
For the Elements of Love, we make provision.
