Greetings everyone, from Artsieladie! ♥
Comparing my early digital art to my more recent work. In this case, the latest version is very recent.
My early work, besides being a beginner with digitally created art, appears faded because for years I worked with a monitor screen that was much darker than a screen should be, although I wasn't aware of this then. During my early years with a computer, I thought my monitor's display to be 'normal'. Because it was so dark, I created art so much lighter, hence faded looking on a normal monitor. It wasn't until 2011 when I changed to a much better and larger HD monitor that my art lost its faded look and being able to see what I'm doing better has also helped me to improve my digital art skills. Thank you, Hans. ♥
